generally....so it's not like they were always on us or anything. They just sort of knew what they already taught us....let us live....and we crossed that unspoken line....it became an issue. And you kind of fight any sort of punishment initially....but I always knew I deserved it....so it just became a thing I was doing because my behavior warranted it in my mind....not....oh, my dad's so mean....plus....when you show up at school with a little more muscle on you.....the girls don't mind. So that helps when looking back on it....like maybe that wasn't that bad....and maybe even good.
