I would have preferred something like Sidewinders. Would have been a cooler
animal and ultimately could have also referred to the weapons development work done at China Lake.

Almost to the Sierra. Still a decent amount of snow. I'm nervous for July 1st, can't imagine doing it in May/June.

Exactly. PCTA is recommending a detour to the east using Bishop and Piute Passes. I have not looked at the details yet
