The South Fork of the San Joaquin bridge was destroyed last Spring. That is where I am super nervous.
You either skip all of Muir Pass, Evolution Valley or you take a 2 day 35+ mile detour over Hell for Sure pass (break off the JMT at Muir Trail Ranch). Andrew Skurka provided another alternate that I am planning on doing "Up and Over" but snow could make that one dangerous. Fingers crossed it all goes well on July 8th!

Almost to the Sierra. Still a decent amount of snow. I'm nervous for July 1st, can't imagine doing it in May/June.
