BYU is competing for a discreet number, so
it is very competitive, as many schools want those athletes as well.
1. Many parents will like to see their children matriculate at a school where academics matter;
2. Some athletes will like the fewer distractions;
3. The degrees these athletes earn could be meaningful later in life.
It is a difficult task but it's what BYU has to offer.
