I spoke with quite a few opposing fans this season. And the Oklahoma father/son duo (dad was in his 50s son 20s) I talked to at halftime were saying how much they had loved their time in Utah (they came up a couple days early) and were blown away by the crowd energy. We talked for prob about 5-7 mins and they were nervous about losing the game… (freakin pick 6)
This was my experience with TT fans at the Texas Tech game (they didn’t seem quite as friendly as the OU ones though) but had positive things to say and were impressed by the atmosphere (though a bunch were squirming at how poorly their team had played)
In short, I think the football game day experience has to be a positive for the players and being in a packed stadium with a ton of energy to get pumped to
