I would check with the ticket office before you sign up for cougar club. When
trying to decide if we wanted to upgrade to silver or not they told me I had to do it by June 15 for it to count towards basketball ticket priority.
They also said silver was the lowest level that would safely get season tickets. I kind of thought it was a sales tactic at the time but I'm glad we did it now after seeing how it's gone the first few days of ticket selections.

Are you a legacy? I’ve been told it won’t show all available seats if you aren’t legacy until they are done w/ those.
