Twitter as a sample of real Utah or byu or democrat or Republican or Kanye or Taylor swift fans is a real stretch.

We would be well served to not use the same invective laden language we see on Twitter. It doesn’t help us or anyone. Grinding the face of our “rival” for the sake of our feeling better doesn’t help us or anyone.

The percentage of Utah fans that match your description is very, very small in my experience as are the BYU fans that match the stereotype cast about by Utah fans. Let’s be above it all.

That said, we can move on with fascination at the process that is correcting the market and valuing the pac 10 at what they are worth, ignoring the puffery of quasi-academic superiority metrics. It is really something.
