Eating out is so much more expensive than it used to be. You guys have it tough
When I first started working I could go get Chinese food with tax, tip and a drink for $5. Now it is $20 for lunch. How can you guys afford that? I started bringing my lunch because I couldn’t afford it back then because mortgage rates were so high and my house payment was more than 50% of my monthly wage. Best part for the long term, more than money, was working through lunch gave me an extra hour with my family each day for the last three decades.
