Because I read a lot of people saying that it's ridiculous to quit mid-season, that these are the guys you've worked with and trained with. That leaving mid-season is a slap in the face to those guys, and that it takes up a scholarship and roster spot from someone else who wanted it.
But I think that all of that would apply regardless of the nuances of role and most transfer reasons, especially when a player is staying there the rest of the semester as a student anyway
And I think the judgment and vitriol towards Holker has gotten way out of hand and looking at how we felt when other players did similar helps to maybe let us realize that
