I was at the CC lunch today and someone asked about Dallin. It seemed, to me, like Kalani was upset about the situation. But he was diplomatic in saying he's no longer with the program, and they are grateful for everything he did for the program, and they wish him the best.
I don't respect the decision and I think he's making a mistake. However, it's a bad look for us as a fanbase to so openly and sometimes harshly criticize the young man. Maybe he comes back, or has children that are athletes that want to consider BYU, or he associates aspects of his faith with the church school--or whatever else. Doesn't make sense to foster negative feelings about BYU from our fan base by being so critical. He's not trying to personally offend you. Follow Kalani's lead and be grateful for his efforts and wish him the best.
