Growth is the source of your frustration. When you’re used to walking 150 yards car to airplane, any big, new airport will seem like a drag.

But when we worship at the alter of economic growth we gotta expect waits, traffic and walks to be bigger, worse, and longer respectively.

I agree that smaller is better. I always avoid the big airports when I can.
