My biggest and perhaps only complaint is security. Those stall things where your belongings are loaded onto suck and
incentivize skipping in front of people already patiently waiting and they for reasons I can’t figure out take longer than the last system.
Also, the convenience of the old airport in terms of restaurants was super nice. With the new terminal the food options are more slim and more spread out.
SLC’s airport now has more of the Phoenix airport feel where it lacks convenience and ease if you want to find food at least. Thankfully SLC’s rental car center is not several miles away like Phoenix’s is.
