You could argue it’s leadership and HR 101 not to talk about religion and
Ethnicity especially in her position and the context it happened.

I have no problem he was not hired. The guy they hired was more qualified IMO.

Bottom line—don’t bring up race or religion in situation like that and if you are her you don’t even touch it if it is brought up by others. You change the subject and move on. Blindsided? 🤦‍♂️
