BTW, I lived in Hawaii for
a decade. Most people over there are mixed ethnicity. But, yes, Tongans are not fond of Samoans, and vice versa. They are not fond of Caucasians, either.
And, if you actually read the detailed report, there seems to be more of a consensus that nothing ill was intended to Polynesians - more issues with perception of her feelings about LDS Church members.
Anybody who has not read every detail of the detailed report has no business opining on this matter.
For example. One poster on this topic claimed that The AD refused to participate in the investigation. False. False. False. He did and it was indicated that he was open and cooperative.
Maile is the one that declined to be interviewed. The guy that asked for the investigation refused to be interviewed. Rich.
