Dont mean to offend, I know very little about the subject. But it's an honest question.

Only direct experience I had with a chiropractor was I guy I did some work for, and he did an adjustment while I was in his office. His bread and butter was car accident victims, which seemed a little ambulance chaser-y.

Also had a friend go to a weird guy. Always mumbled to himself while he adjusted (apparently, he was praying for guidance, I was told)
