How does this have POTD nominations? Regardless of how one feels about
whether we should join a G5 conference, pretty much everyone knows we need money to get good coaches. And we need money to have up-to-date facilities. And we need money for recruiting. The average fan doesn't notice direct impact of money or the lack thereof. But we sure gripe about the indirect impact of a lack of money.
Why on earth would we want to widen the gulf between us and the biggest programs? The thinking in the OP completely misses the big picture.
