But winning the WAC put us in the Holiday bowls, and gave us the chance to win
the National title, and built the brand we had over three decades, but are now losing quickly.
You didn't care, because you weren't a player or a coach or a fan with a clue. You didn't understand how the focus of winning the conference title put the team in the position for a National title, or how the scheduling was more ideal for exceptional seasons, etc...
There is a reason more and more former players and coaches are coming forward to state the importance of conference affiliation and the ability to COMPETE and win a conference. Ignore and disrespect those players and conference championships all you want, but you are just being completely ignorant to the value they brought and would continue to bring to our brand.
