The MWC is presently a double digit auto bid league with bad tv.
At least the WCC has Gonzaga and SMC. The MWC has nobody even at the level of SMC.
We all know and agree that the MWC was a very good league for about 5 years (BYU's last 2-3 and the first couple years after BYU was gone).
The MWC has 11 schools, and for two straight seasons has produced one NCAA Tournament team -- which team was a double digit seed. The Season before that only Wyoming upsetting SDSU in the MWC title game allowed the MWC to get 2 teams in. More of the same expected this season. It's a double digit auto bid league these days.
I get that you have your opinions about going to a G5 for football. The fact that you also would like to go to the MWC for basketball might make you the biggest MWC fan on the board.
