For our last baby we paid as we left and asked for a discount. Seems like they

discounted everything 40-50%. Wife didn't get the epidural because of how fast she had the previous 3 kids so that saved a lot. All and all I think we paid 4 to 5 thousand out the door.

Insurance didn't cover anything so we didn't bother using them. It's such a jacked up system.
