The shooting percentage tends to drop from 3 when you heavily guard the 3. You can’t expect players to shoot their average % when they are taking open in rhythm shots.
BYU ultimately had to choose to lose by the 3 or in the paint last night. I think they made the wrong choice but BYU was likely losing that game either way. Alabama guards are far more dynamic than BYUs as KY said repeatedly post game. Not much byu can do to make up for that.
