10 years ago we all would have said, "Wow. That was nice hit. What a football play." Then they created the targeting rule and it's there for a reason. Unfortunately, it is inconsistently applied. By rule, that was targeting because there is question.
When the call goes our way, we love it. When the call goes against us, we hate it. But we still argue it. It needs to be clarified, consistently applied, and refs should be required to specify why it is or is not targeting when they make their call.
