It's a slow day on CB, And I know this has been covered before, but if you'd like share The BYU sports moment that converted you into a full-blown fan...
For me it was the 1980 Holiday Bowl. I was 13 and was living in Southern California and that game actually was on tape delay to LA which is weird, but I was watching the game and BYU is getting shellacked. My aunt who lived in SLC called and was talking to my mom and said something to the effect of, "wasn't that a great game for BYU?"
So I continue watching and as the end of the game approaches and BYU's down by 20 points with just like a few minutes left I started to get very angry and threw kind of a tantrum because I was a spoiled brat. I was sure that my aunt had messed with me and couldn't understand why she would do something like that.

Then the come back happened and the Hail Mary. That's when it started. And then when I was a teenager I went to the church many Saturdays to watch BYU play on satellite.
The 84 holiday bowl was a big deal, but then I came to Provo in 1989 and saw every game Ty Detmer played in person.
And now I waste way too much time on this silly board.
