I have never worked in sales, so can't offer personal experience; but when I was your age I thought sales (software,
medical, financial services, other) seemed so unappealing. Some of my friends and family in the BYU community did sales and I always assumed it was a stepping stone to another more permanent career. Fast forward 30 years, and some of those people have built extremely successful careers in sales. I now have a lot of respect for the hustle attitude and work ethic that the successful ones have.
But if you hate sales you should transition away... maybe look at part-time nursing classes. I've seen many people take 3-5 years to get a nursing degree then launch into a great career.
