No QB from 1989 would have success if you dropped them in the game today.
Very few all era QBs.
Interestingly enough Randall Cunningham is one of the few 1980s QB who I think would do better nowadays if you just dropped them in the game today. Still would have some learning difficulties with the concepts defences run today, but his physical tools match up better to today's game than the 1980s

Yeah I don't think so. If the same TY Detmer when he was college age played for BYU this year, I think given the change
