We did the same. Set a firm schedule as soon as possible and move the baby
to another room and be ok with him/her crying (unless not well).

We never used a bassinet. Just burrito wrap in a blanket and put in crib.

Sleep training is brutal but stick with it. Dont raise kids that can’t sleep unless they are in bed with mom and dad.
