A lot of people donate because they love the mission of BYU - for example, what

about all of the donations to fund the law school, business school, other programs, non-athletic scholarships, etc? Why do those people donate. They don't get perks. They just love BYU and want to support it. I think the same can be said for NIL donations. The resulting publicity and success for BYU Athletics helps BYU.
