I don't think this is as easy as some think it is...multiple law makers have...
already mentioned if it gets to that level they will step in.
Some forget at the end of the day these are still public schools and the local government still has influence on what can and can't be done.
You saw it at some level when USC bailed and UCLA law makers stepped in.
There was one law maker in Bama saying they would not allow the football team to just run off with the naming, ect and not have it benefit the university. Some have mentioned removing the naming rights of these college teams all together.
So I would be curious where this all ends up in the end.

Relegation in CFB would be so awesome. And solve a ton of the current issues with level-of-play issues.
