developing players and fostering a love in the game from the kids they coach. I get it when you are in a competitive league, but if there are league rules about minimum time or plays for each kid, a coach sure as heck better be making sure each and every kid plays at least that minimum number. And if I were coaching a (rec-level) team, I would try to make sure that everyone got a satisfactory amount of playing time and if we lost some games as a result - oh well.
