I feel like this has left since they got rid of neighborhood based sports.
We had a kid on our team that sucked but he was part of the team every year and we cheered for him every game. Now we have a mentality that if they suck it is only one season they are with us.
Also, most people don’t realize that playing sports for kids is fun whether they win or lose.
When should we start telling parents to stay home when they suck as fans?

I've seen kids absolutely sick at a sport at 7 or 9 who then blossomed into an all star a few years later. You miss all
