I agree with that but would saying playing to compete rather than for fun. Those two things can be the exact same thing

Because it is good for kids to play on a team, work through struggles, and make friends. Rec level sports are important

What sport and what level? I'm guessing if your kid is playing on a team with kids that has crappy kids it's not a great

Good coaches work with those kids and find ways to make it work. Bad coaches blame the parents for signing them up.
