Cougarbib Intervention Needed
It demonstrates exactly. When Allgeier was buried 6th string RB, like usual, he
was moved to LB. When he rose up and showed star power and O injured 4 RBs ahead of him, they moved him - a star defender now, to RB - not a 5th string LB to RB.

That is how it works at BYU for players that could play either side of the ball. Offense gets 1st pick and D gets what is left.

A star DL is much more likely to get moved to TE or OL than anyone going the opposite direction.

It has always been this way at BYU. It is the opposite at Utah.

U never hear BYU talk about moving Hall to safety - maybe Sol Jay if he ends up behind Billoups at QB 5.

Steve Young at QB 8 nearly, but not quite, got moved to Safety.

That is how it works at the QB factory.
