I'm not as optimistic about next year as many of you are
While I like the talent that is coming in, lots of it is going to be coming straight off a mission. That is tough. Add on top of that the fact that guys like Haws and Dastrup will be playing their 1st year of college ball and I think it will take a little while for them to get where they want to be.
Potential Starters/Big Minutes:
Emery - Should be better in year 2
Haws - Mission Legs and college adjustment could hurt him
Mika - Mission Legs
Dastrup - Mission Legs and college adjustment
Davis - Should be at this best
Kaufusi? - Has looked good, hopefully he keeps it up
Bryant - Will be huge for BYU imo
Chatman - Hopefully continues to grow
Childs - I heard he is playing a year first?
Who am I missing?
That is a crazy talented roster. I just hope they have the leadership (lacking for much of this year) and that the guys getting back will adjust quickly. I think it will take longer than CB is willing to give them.
