That's just ridiculous. I highly doubt BYU will ever win a national championship again. My expectations are not that high. I don't think it's too much to ask that BYU win some big games once in a while and consistently beat Utah. That's reasonable. Look, we had a really nice run from 2006 to 2009. I was very pleased with Bronco during that time span. I was a huge Bronco fan and apologist. Those years were a lot of fun. However, that early success came mostly with Crowton's recruits.
Since 2010, the program has been in a steady tail spin. The offense has been abysmal, Utah has owned us, and we look unprepared and underwhelming in almost every single big game we play in. He's also completely mishandled the quarterback situation. Bronco has also been a PR nightmare, though I do think he is improving in this regard. It's obvious that Bronco is a great DC but he is not a great head coach. The fans who want to defend Bronco at all costs are the ones who are delusional.

Listen, I think Bronco is a fantastic individual. I honestly think he is a very good man, and I bear no malice toward him whatsoever. I don't dislike him as a person. I just think that he has peaked as a head coach and he has now plateaued and is steadily declining. I have a feeling that BYU can do better. You and I can respectfully disagree on that. That's fine.
