or lower level D1. HC coaching experience, or long term OC or DC is vital. So, it has to be people that want a career in CFB, experience, excelled at lower levels. On that list, Kyle is the only option imo. I think he's a very good coach, and that edginess and tough guy thing would actually be liked by our fans, if he we OUR coach, and not the enemy.
For me, that's the "be careful what you wish for" part of firing Bronco. I honestly don't know of any viable candidate that qualifies and is available, unless Kyle got fired. When Lavell retired, there were at least 2-3 guys that looked decent on paper. I definitely want to go young though, I don't want an older retread. Meyer had taken Bowling Green from nothing to winning. He was know as an up and comer when he came to Utah. It's definitely a very tough situation. That's why I think the solution is Bronco getting a nails OC so he can just worry about D. Bronco really needs a brilliant OC to be complete as a HC. I didn't mean to sound like I was putting down your list, just frustrating at how few options there are. Maybe if Kyle gets fired from the U and has bad blood, he could embrace traitoring back to the Y.
