Based on all the advice I’m reading in this thread, here is what I would do if it happened to me:
1) post the incident on CB and get the collective awesomeness of CB working on it
2) Post the name and phone number of the guy on CB in the event someone in here knows him and could politely tell him so as not to embarrass the guy by a stranger confronting him.
3) input all of the advice into ChatGPT to come to the conclusion of what steps I need to take, which in this case it tells me you should: 1) Contact the authorities: report the incident to the police to ensure it is documented and to seek their guidance on how to proceed. This can help ensure your daughter’s safety and hold the responsible party accountable. 2) inform HR: notify the human resources department about the incident, and the shift manager’s response emphasize the need for better training on handling such situations and ensure that the store takes appropriate action.3) enhance safety measures: educate your daughter on situational awareness and self-defense. Consider discussing the possibility of a job change if she feels unsafe in her current position.
