same seats in Cougar Stadium since 1972. When he passed away I got his seats. He always sat in seat #1. It’s now mine.

I was there when BYU beat Air Force in 85, I was there for Miami. I was there for 4th 18. I saw George split the defenders. I saw Mangum beat Boise.

I sat through the beating by FSU and then TCU in 2009. I watched Utah’s 54-10.

I don’t know how many games I have sat through in LES and on the road but it’s well over a hundred.

We were season ticket holders in basketball. I have watched Ainge, Smith, Roberts, Hansen, Jimmer.

I have been to baseball camps. Sent my kids to those same camps.

I didn’t go to BYU but even then I always cheered for them when they came to town over the school I did go to.

Maybe it’s weird. I don’t know.

To me it doesn’t seem to be all that unusual.
