that we need to raise the bar (of expectations). AJ Dybansta stated publicly his goal is to compete for a national championship at BYU, and don't think for a second that Kevin Young doesn't have the exact same goal.
While Coach Young has gotten off to an incredible start, there is more work to be done in terms of upgrading the overall skill, length, and athleticism of the roster to turn BYU into a legitimate title contender. I broke it down here yesterday:

With all due respect to the Utah and USU guys, I'm not convinced anyone on either of those rosters closes the gap between BYU and Houston, Duke, Florida, Auburn, etc. And if Kevin Young has proven anything, he and his staff will scour not just the entire country, but the entire globe, for top level players who can elevate both BYU's floor and ceiling.
It's not hypothetical. Egor was not on any of our radars this time last year. Neither was Mag. And certainly none of us even dreamed of signing AJ Dybansta. Cougar fans need to catch on to Kevin Young's greater vision for BYU basketball. There is a new standard in PROvo.
