year degree is what you're supposed to do after high school. But it's largely a massive waste of time and money, and all too often people end up having a job that a degree wasn't required for in the first place.

Trades will never go away. Technology won't replace plumbers, electricians, etc., and in the end having those skills give individuals the opportunity to be their own boss and grow a business.
