I'm not trying to lord that over anyone, but a little recognition of that by those in denial would go a long way. Instead of the hubris and the "we're so past you" and "you aren't our rival" and the irrational hatred.

In contrast I'm happy to admit that no matter what happens, Utah will always be our #1 rival. We're not going to "leave them in the dust" or some other such nonsense. It doesn't matter that we're the bigger fanbase and better overall sports program technically, and it didn't matter when they got more media dollars. For some reason, they thought it did.
