I’ve talked to enough former coaches and employees to know that firing someone

from BYU always feels like your Church is firing you—no matter how strong you are—so KS is right to be very careful with that and only fire people who really got plenty of second chances.

It sometimes stinks for the sports product, but it’s probably the right approach from a big-picture standpoint for The Church’s program.

KS has a tough job. I think he’s perfect for it.
