If I had to guess, because it is the same issue with both wired and wireless
connections, the issue is deeper into the system than acquiring the signal. Maybe there is a breaker or capacitor on the main board that is failing. I'd call up tech support and see if you can find somebody helpful.

There is usually a light that flashes when something is wrong. The number of times it flashes will indicate the problem

I don't see any flashing ever, I know what you mean, like if something is in the way of the safety laser you get
