True. A situation like this is simply two entities fighting over dollars
under the guise of “team,” or “integrity of the sport.” We all know the money is there, just make a final decision on who gets to keep it and deal with the consequences

There’s nothing I respect more than a player quitting on his team mid season

The only team that will accept him is some team

It depends on how good he is; BYU has taken players who quit mid-season and lost players who quit midseason

CFB is a team sport run by people who are not good at being on a team. Like life

He shouldn’t have demanded more mid season.

We don't know if that's true. The local reports have a strong incentive to lie

Its what makes the most sense. His value increased mid year and now he is trying

But what if he was really promised more money that he hasn’t received? At what

Is that what happened or is he getting a better offer to go somewhere else
johnnybyu
Sep 25, 6:53am
Why would his offer be contingent on quitting midseason?
Mostlyaccurate
Sep 25, 6:54am
Because 4 games this can be a redshirt year and he gets the year back to make
johnnybyu
Sep 25, 6:55am
Also, we should. It is irresponsible/bad stewardship to not make as much money

Shame on the school? What's the school's official position?
