I suspect it would be more accurately stated "#1 scorer" rather than "#1 player"

unless his defense and rebounding have bumped a level. He appears he'll be something like JR was last year for us, although scoring in different ways of course, but in terms of overall productivity. Only maybe better. JR was our #1 scorer but NOT #1 player, due to deficiencies on the glass and on D.
