& lateral quickness, he'd be a waste of talent slotted as a 4. Defensively, we need him to be a mismatch — not simply holding his own. Same with Richie (who unfortunately we didn't have the roster to allow him to play to his strengths enough last season).
And given Catching's style of play (which ISN'T very physical), he's not strong enough to be our primary 4 as a Frosh, either. He's a wing at heart — & will have to learn to be a 4. I'd rather see him log 10 min per there — than I would 15.
(Mag's knee injury — is another reason for not wanting him in the paint all that much. If not for that — I'd probably want him crashing the boards a lot. But with that injury history — I think I want him out in front on the the break — where his film suggests he's an excellent option as well.)
