that I put on all special teams, and rotated in on DL (we rotated every 2-3 plays at that spot). We always got kid's many more than the required 10 plays per game.

Very few kids ever questioned this or asked to play other positions, but every time it did happen it was 100% some parent behind it. Usually a parent that never took the opportunity to coach themselves.

As I see it, in youth football all kid's deserve playing time, but the position and scheme are the perogative of the coach.
