If your family has existing medical conditions that require frequent visits to doctors, the high deductible plan the HsA requires may not be best fit for you and any dependents.

Edit to add: will your work provide any telehealth plans? This is a great way to avoid going to a doctor for an ear infection, strep, or other common illnesses. Teledocs have also diagnosed diseases that come with skin conditions (hand foot mouth… eww) and get the right meds prescribed.

Avoid to the doctors office and save some money on the high deductible plan.
