And even that 5th in WCC (which was by far Pope's worst season) is nothing compared to football's 2017. Pope also lost his shot to win a tourney game with arguably his best team due to COVID. Meanwhile, Kalani's best seasons came during COVID. And while we did get to top 10 in 2020 and top 15 in 2021, we ended about 5-10 spots lower.
But look, if you think Kalani finishing 5th in the B12 this year means he'll be considered for blueblood jobs, we'll just need to agree to disagree.
