"My team lives in a different state? Why do I need to come in?"

We had corporate restructuring of departments. My entire team is on the East Coast, I'm in Kansas. No one at the Kansas office affects my day-to-day work. I would travel 45 minutes to sit in zoom meetings all day. Brought this up to my boss, he cleared a wfh exception for me.
