What Im pointing out is that there will be a log-jam for playing time w/ too few
teams w/ not enough starting positions for the talent that is out there. This is why they can only consolidate just so far...
And in theory, as the US population will also continue to grow, so while there are 5K kids per year currently, what happens when that becomes 7,500 or even more moving forward?
The NFL appears to made up of more 2, 3 and non-rated players than 5*s. These kids are going to play somewhere, and yes, the transfer portal allows fluidity in consolidating talent, but it also allows guys stuck in a log jam to find himself a better option
