Do you get work done, and do you help others get their work done? Isn't that
all that matters? You should be accessible during core hours so that others can get their work done (if they need to talk or meet with you). And you should have regular office time if there are people in the office that can be way more efficient by talking to you in person, and vice a versa.

So in my mind the average corporate employee should plan to be in the office at least 3x a week, at least a few hours each time. And then complete flexibility outside of that. And if they want to devalue themselves by not being around and being seen, then that's their choice. And if they aren't producing, you give them more to do or let them go. I don't believe in completely remote work for people close to an office. But I would really struggle if I had your kind of management environment.
